About the department

               Established in the year 1999 - 2000 with B.Sc. Computer Science course, the department visualized tremendous growth throughout the years. The dept. grabbed several university ranks including first rank and also produced so many high fliers, making them qualified and confident enough both academically and personally to face real world challenges. We are proud of the graduates of our programs, many of whom are working with software giants such as TCS, Infosys, IBM, Wipro, CTS, Sapiens Technologies, ANZ-IT, FIS Globals and in reputed banks (SIB, SBI, ESAF) and educational institutions in both India and abroad. Department has conducted several Intenational/National/State level seminars/ workshops/ training programs to make the students intellectually qualified and also emotionally matured. At present, the dept. is also offering Add-On courses in Python Programming, Cyber Ethics and LaTeX.

The department is in forefront to introduce skill- oriented courses to equip the students to rise upto the industry expectations. With this objective, two new courses: B.Voc Web Technology, PG Diploma in Data Science are launched in 2018.
