Vimala College Hostel is managed by CMC Nirmala province and is under the direct control of Principal of the college and under the immediate management of the hostel wardens. In order to ensure the students coming from the different parts of the country and from the international scenario to learn to live together and to provide adequate atmosphere and time for their studies and research we provide residential facility. The hostel, ‘a home away home’ is a common and united endeavour to help the students to be physically fit, intellectually alert, morally upright, emotionally integrated, socially aware and spiritually oriented persons.

Mission: - To inculcate disciplined life style by which an elegant personality of effective inter action and successful life is accomplished

A life of orderliness and discipline is of prime importance for the acquirement of knowledge and virtue; the rules are laid down to ensure this discipline in the hostel. Since a whole hearted obedience to them alone can promote happiness and contentment, every who seeks admission here must willingly subject to them

• Students who are admitted to the full time programmes in the college are eligible to seek accommodation  in the hostel
• Students  under  the reservation category including  physically handicapped and students from Lakshadweep and other states are given prior place in the admission
• A student seeking admission in the hostel will apply in the prescribed form available in the hostel reception along with documentary evidence for the programme of study in the college and residential proof.
• The warden makes the allotment of rooms keeping in view the PG and UG programmes and extracurricular and sports activities
• Fresh application will be required for a re-admission into the hostel
• Rooms are allotted to the faculty members as per their requirement
• When the student leaves the hostel the no due certificate will be given only after remitting all the fees
• Students who are under the psychiatry medical treatment are not eligible to take admission in the hostel
• The students who seeks admission from the other districts should have a local guardian to meet the emergencies
• The hostel will remain closed during Holy week, Onam and Christmas holidays
• The Principal has the ultimate authority in accepting or rejecting the applications submitted for hostel admission
