Vimala college is a Partner Institute with ASAP Mission of the Govt. of Kerala in training graduate and postgraduate students for empanelling them as Skill Development Executives (SDE). As a Trainer Partner Institution, the college provides 21 days residential training to the student trainees on behalf of ASAP Mission. Besides, the college also offers regular ASAP training classes to I sem UG students.
