My daughter Shreya Ravi M.P was interested in Social Studies while studying in High school itself. So considering her interest we chose Humanities stream and while opting for higher studies Vimala College was our first preference. As natives of Thrissur, we had always heard very good opinion about Sociology Department of Vimala College. My daughter was lucky enough to get admission for BA in this esteemed institution. While seeking admission for PG, Vimala College was our first priority as we were well aware of the teachers, the effort they put towards the betterment of the students, facilities in the Department and College, discipline and overall goodwill of the College. By Gods grace and with immense support from the Department and College, my daughter was able to complete PG with good grade. She could also qualify NET last year. Vimala College has played an eminent role in building up her personality and knowledge. The discipline she could acquire from this College, I think will be an asset for her in all spheres of her future life and career.
