STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS

Best paper award:

• 25-11-2022: SrNimitha PA 2022 pass out PG student presented paper in Spark research paper presentation competition for science organised by the IQAC and Research consultancy cell, Vimala College, on the topic ‘Isolation and characterisation of cellulolytic bacteria from wild herbivores and its biological application’ and won the first  position

• 25-11-2022:Gopika KR 2022 pass out PG student presented paper in Spark research paper presentation competition for science organised by the IQAC and Research consultancy cell, Vimala College, on the topic ‘Alteration in breast cancer cell viability and adhesion when treated with ML349’  and won the third position

• Nutrigirl competition: final year PG student (SF), Mariya KS won first prize and Libiya K Babu won third prize in Nutrigirl competition  organised by the dept of Home science, Vimala college

• 22-2-2023: Ninu Jacob and Ankita, II UG students, won II prize in intercollegiate quiz competition organised by library club in connection with world day of social justice and international mother language day

Best paper award: 4 (1 international, 2 national, 1 regional)

7-12-2021: Sr Nimitha, PA, II MSC Zoology student won the best paper award in the international conference held at St Mary’s College, Thrissur

22-12-2021: Nimitha P A, II year PG student, won Best paper award (Category C) in National Level Virtual Paper Presentation Competition ‘Current Status of   Biological Research: An overview’ for research scholars and PG students.

11-12-2021: Hritha H, 2021 pass out PG student, presented paper in Spark research paper presentation competition for science organised by the IQAC and Research consultancy cell, Vimala College, on the topic ‘Genetic association study of the ReelinSNPrs736707 with autism spectrum disorder in Kerala population’ and won the second position
