1. Dr. Divya.P.R, Assistant Professor, Department of Statistics, Vimala College, Thrissur recognized as Research Guide of the University in Statistics, with Department of Statistics, St. Thomas College, Thrissur as her center of research.
2. Dr. Jismi Mathew, Assistant Professor, Department of Statistics, Vimala College, Thrissur awarded Doctor of philosophy in statistics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam in 2021
3. Dr.  Preethi John (Assistant Professor, Dept of Statistics, Vimala College) won Prof .U.S.Nair best paper presentation award in international conference on "Statistics for 21st century-2020", organized by department of Statistics, University of Kerala during 16-19 Dec 2020.
4. Dr. Jerin Paul, Assistant Professor, Department of Statistics, Vimala College (Autonomous), Thrissur, selected as a consultant biostatistician of Pankajakasthuri Herbals India (P) Ltd and performed the above role in the clinical trial of ZingiVir-H, developed as an anti COVID ayurvedic medicine
5. Dr. Jismi Mathew, has been selected for  Flair programme, Government of Kerala.
6. Dr Jerin Paul elected as the executive council member of Kerala Statistical Association and continuing in the same from 2019 onwards

1. Juwel jijo won Second prize in Millets recipe competition conducted by Home science Department, Vimala College (Autonomous), Thrissur
2. Juwel jijo Second prize in Milk recipe competition conducted by Home science Department, Vimala College (Autonomous), Thrissur 
3. Archa P S secured second prize for Group dance in D Zone held on June 2023
4. Archa P S secured First prize for Group dance in intercollegiate competition conducted by St. Mary’s College, Thrissur.
5. Anjusree and Sandhra Ramesh won First prize in a Statistics quiz competition conducted by the Statistics department, Vimala College (Autonomous), Thrissur.
6. Anjusree and Bhaimi secured Second position in All Kerala Statistics Quiz conducted by Kerala Statistics Association.
7. Karma Award: Harinandhana S J of 3rd year B.Sc. Statistics received Karma Award 2023 for the ‘Best Socially Committed student of the college’ (Science stream) by Alumnae Association of Vimala College, Thrissur, from Honourable Governor of Kerala, Arif Mohammed Khan.
