Student Solar Ambassador Workshop

The Student Solar Ambassador Workshop initiated by IIT Mumbai was conducted in the department on 2^nd October 2019 at 10.00 am. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Minimol. K , Vice Principal of the college. She emphasized on the Gandhian ideals and the theme of the programme “non – violence to nature”. The inaugural section was concluded with an oath taken by the participants pledging themselves to be citizens upholding ideals of conservation of nature and sustainable energy source.

The first session was based on tool kit analysis followed by a section delibrating on the working principles and circuits. The next  session focused on the physical components and the assembling of Solar Urja Lamp. Then the participants moved on to the assembling of Lamp. The participants responded that the event provided hands on experience and was a fresh venture indeed. The students take their solar lamp which made by themselves to their homes.
