Physigala Exhibition 2023

A captivating and informative Physics Exhibition was held at the Physics lab, Vimala College (Autonomous), Thrissur on 30th January and 1st February 2023. The exhibition aimed to showcase various concepts, experiments, and practical applications of Physics to students, fostering their interest and understanding of the subject. It provided a platform for students to explore the wonders of Physics through hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and engaging exhibits. A series of captivating experiments were conducted, showcasing fundamental concepts of Physics such as mechanics, optics, electricity, and magnetism. Interactive demonstrations, such as the Van de Graaff generator, Newton's cradle, and optical illusions, enthralled students and sparked their curiosity. Various models and exhibits were displayed, illustrating complex scientific phenomena in a visually appealing manner. These models covered topics like the solar system, wave properties, electromagnetism, and the principles of motion. Exhibits included working models of simple machines, circuits, etc., allowing students to grasp practical applications of Physics in everyday life. The PHYSIGALA created a stimulating learning environment, encouraging students to explore the wonders of Physics beyond textbooks. The hands-on activities and interactive exhibits fostered a sense of curiosity and critical thinking among the students, inspiring them to pursue further scientific exploration. The event served as a stepping stone towards nurturing a generation of young scientists and innovators, poised to make significant contributions to the world of science in the future.

An exhibition Physigala 2018 was arranged for school students which is conducted on alternate years. The program was on 6/12/2018

  

  

Physigala Exhibition 2016

In connection with the Science conclave conducted at Vimala College, Students of the Physics department presented an exhibition named Physigala on 7th and 8th of December 2016. They explained the fundamental principles of Physics to the School and college students. The planetarium was set up and it was the main attraction for the visitors.
