Space Saga

In connection with ‘AZADI KA AMRUT MAHOTSAV’, the Post Graduate and Research Department of Physics commemorated the Advancements in Indian Space Science after independence. The Space Saga, a collection of 75 videos was compiled by the UG and PG students of the department of physics to respectfully remember and salute all veterans who have served selflessly in lifting Indian Space Science to the heights attained till date. A journey through these videos depicts the major milestones and significant achievements in Indian space science. The videos speak about the various launch vehicles designed, the diverse applications catered to in space expeditions, institutes run in the country aiming at space science growth, and the proud Bharath missions such as Chandrayaan, Mangalyaan and lot more. Dr Sr Beena Jose, principal, Vimala College, released The Space Saga.
